FESTIVITIES All parties, except the New Year, are governed by the lunar calendar. The holidays are on October 1st, May 1st, January 1st and the Spring Festival. This festival is named after San Fermin, the Holy Patron of the drunks, because only the brave and foolish dares to compete running with the bulls through the streets to the bullring. Before and after the bull fight each evening, a special dances are performed and scratch the game music. The real fights occur in the afternoon at 6:00 and last about 15 minutes.
